Soil	USDA SSURGO	The soil map unit for the parcel, its prime-farmland designation, and the drainage class — the productivity rating that exists for that exact ground and is never in the particulars.
Crop history	USDA NASS CDL	What was actually planted, year by year for ten years. A rotation tells you how the land has been treated; continuous corn tells you something else.
Drought record	Satellite drought history	How often this parcel has actually been in drought, rather than the county average a seller will quote.
Flood	FEMA NFHL	The flood zone over the parcel, including the portion of it that floods when only part does.
Ground motion	InSAR grid	Whether the ground under the parcel is measurably moving — relevant where irrigation has drawn down an aquifer.
